Market Leaders in the Sales and providing expert solutions for Over pressure Protection, Automation and Control requirements to the Petrochemical Industries and Mining Industries, requires a dynamic Internal Sales person with particular experience in Valves. Duties and responsibilities include:-
Responding to all Incoming Telephonic calls, and Emails
Telephonic Sales – giving expert advice and solutions – both verbal and written
Arranging Sales Engineer to call on Customer after acquiring sufficient and relative information and arranging the appointment
Compiling and submitting Quotations and following up
Processing of Invoices and Inter-Branch transfers
Expediting of Orders
Technical coordination
Branch liaison and support
Maintaining the Quotes Register
Assisting with Stock management system
Assisting the Sales Engineers with Quotations and other Sales duties
Required Skills
- Electrical: 1 year or less
- Sales: 1 to 2 years
- Mechanical: 1 year or less
- Instrumentation: 1 year or less
- Valves: 1 year or less
Candidate Requirements
Grade 12
Excellent command of English language - both verbal and written
· Prior Internal Sales Administration experience would be preferable – At least 1 year
· Process Instrumentation/Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background an advantage.
· Knowledge of Instrumentation and/or Valves products an advantage.
· Need to be computer literate and efficient in Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook.
· Ability to work independently and proactively
· Good memory retention
· Good communication and customer service skills
· Attention to detail
· Be able to perform under pressure and get quotations out timeously
