JOB SUMMARY:
Main Purpose of Position:
• The Pre-Sales Engineer role entails, amongst others, aligning with specified technologies, present high-level view and consult on technology and solutions by studying and understanding partner technologies.
• Identify Cloud Partner requirements by researching and analysing when having their monthly meetings.
• Know and support the Partners with the business service offerings.
• Keep current with new business‘s technology releases via online training, webinars and in person training and events.
• Articulate business’s technology roadmaps and service offerings to Account Managers, Partners and their end customers.
• Assist Partners with technology trends and consult with them to assist in rolling out new business offerings.
• Assist the Brand with pre-sales tasks that they require.

Performance Standards:
• Monthly engagement with technical counterparts.
• Monthly partner presales engagements.
• As and when required partner engagements with sales and one monthly recorded presentation to be reused for webinar training sessions.
• All technical pre- and post-sales as required by Brand.
• Perform requested technical accurately inside SLA.
• Comprehensive communication to all shareholders.
• Travel maybe required for in-person training and engagements.

Minimum Qualification:
• Computer degree or diploma preferred but not essential, depending on experience.
• Data Backup knowledge and understanding

Minimum Experience:
• Comes from an IT background working within a premier software organization covering IT
Infrastructure, Datacentre technology. Minimum 8 years’ experience.
• 5+ years Data Backup /Data Management experience.
