Marketing Coordinator

Our client is a business financier for viable small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the world. They are passionate about financing, supporting and mentoring entrepreneurs. They have an exciting career opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator within their marketing team at their Bellville offices. The ideal candidate will be more of a doer than a planner.

Responsibilities:

• To manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities on a regional level.


• To implement marketing plans and projects as received from the national marketing team.


• To develop, build and maintain relationships with key industry players, including media partners.


• To arrange and coordinate events online and offline, including webinars.


• On a regional level oversee, develop, and approve marketing material such as website banners, brochures and media campaigns.


• To research and compile relevant information that will support operational staff in preparing for presentations, interviews, and press releases.


• To actively participate in and through digital communication and social media platforms on behalf of the West Coast Business Unit.


• Monitoring marketing activities of the operational teams

Requirements:

The successful candidate should have:

• A relevant marketing related degree.


• Financial experience and/or operational and/or sales experience in an SME environment


• Experience in hosting webinars and other online events


• Event organizing and planning skills.


• Minimum of 5 to 8 years working experience in a marketing environment.


• Be able and willing to travel.

Area: Bellville

Salary: R30k – R40k p.m. (depending on experience)
