Employer: Sparrows Chartered Accountants

    The ideal candidate will assist in managing a client portfolio consisting of companies , trusts and individuals. 

    Responsibilities

    • Monthly accounting on Xero / Sage Cloud
    • Monthly VAT / PAYE calculation, reconciliations and SARS queries
    • Calculating provisional and annual tax returns
    • Compiling of financial statements (Draftworx)
    • Client relations
    • SARS query management
    • Reporting directly to director

Required Skills

  • Accounting: 3 to 4 years
  • Taxation: 3 to 4 years
  • Individual Returns: 3 to 4 years
  • IFRS For SME's: 3 to 4 years

Candidate Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting
    • 4+ years' working at a accounting / auditing firm
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Detail and admin orientated
