Responsibilities:
Embedded Hardware:
- Fault finding and repair of PCB’s
- Create and make changes to Autodesk Eagle & Diptrace projects and schematics
- Create Bill of Materials for projects
- Generate gerber and drill files
- Technical support for new and existing projects
Embedded Firmware:
- Able to create new firmware projects using MPLAB, Visual Studio Code (PlatformIO), Arduino
- Able to make adjustments to existing firmware projects
Candidate Requirements
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic/Electronic Engineering (or similar)
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years Embedded hardware development experience
- Minimum 1-2 years Embedded firmware development experience
- Familiar with manufacturing environment
- C/C++/C# coding
- Testing & debugging
- MPLAB (XC8 compiler) experience will be an advantage
- EPS32, IoT
- PCB design; schematic and PCB layout
- 2D CAD design experience with laser cutting will be an advantage
- Advance Microsoft Office skills
- Strong attention to details
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Analytical and lateral thinking skills
- Excellent time management skills are essential for this position
