Faircape Group has an exciting vacancy available for a Brand Manager.
The Brand Manager will manage the Marketing material for the Sales and Leasing, Property Management, and Storage divisions.
With decades of joint experience, competitive rates, and a rental portfolio of over 450 properties, Faircape is at the head of the Cape Town residential market.
Within the Faircape Marketing Department, the Brand Manager and the design team will produce the creative output for the sales and marketing departments.
The successful candidate will be required to manage TTL creative output, manage the WordPress updates, upkeep websites with relevant information, digital marketing via blogs, google ads, mailers, mobile direct marketing, and social media campaigns, as well as all print collateral.
Integrally involved in the formulating of marketing plans and goals and managing the plan to execution. To manage and optimise the required output to ensure that deadlines are met and all agreed marketing plans have been executed by the relevant business unit/department.
Using analysis tools to ascertain the effectiveness of the marketing plan and to ascertain if the goals are being achieved.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Manage the planning, implementation and control of marketing campaigns across the Group
This role incorporates “traffic” responsibilities wherein briefs are received from internal clients and allocated to the team
The role will require management of production in sourcing quotes, arranging campaign collateral, reviewing final output, liaising with external agencies and ensuring timelines are managed and communicated - fulfilling the role of campaign and project manager
Managing of Graphic Designer
Analyse brand positioning and consumer insights
Research and analyse target market, industry trends and competitors activities
Assessing the business needs of the relevant business units
Co-create a PPC and Social Media strategy, budget and implementation plan
Participate in crafting marketing, advertising and communication strategies
Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies
Analyse data and implementation of optimisations
Develop and manage the budget and organise resources to meet the brands objectives
Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess return on investment and key performance indicator
Development of effective and creative digital marketing campaigns that contributes to the brands growth
Develop and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned brands
Research and identify various creative opportunities
Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team, and management as needed
Identifying creative trends and opportunities
Writing different types of copy for a variety of different target markets and clients
Writing persuasive, clear copy and tailor content to a wide range of print and digital channels, and tie together all elements within a holistic marketing strategy
Create engaging content for Social Media
Proofing and editing existing copy and adapting as required
Use SEO principles to maximise copy’s reach
Completed Marketing degree
Experience and Knowledge:
Proven work experience in as a Brand Manager
Experience with email automation and workflows
Ideally someone with a background working in the Real Estate Industry
Extensive digital marketing experience (Social Media, Google Ads, running digital campaigns, lead capturing and SEO).
Marketing and publishing background essential
Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to management
Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Wordpress and Adobe programmes, e.g. InDesign, Illustrator and Photosop
Experience working with Wordpress
Advanced writing and language skills
Experience using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google My Business, Google Search Console

We offer Barista produced coffee available all day to all our staff at Claremont.
Normal working hours are Mondays to Fridays from 08h00 until 17h00 with a 45-minute lunch break. The company allows employees, by approval of the direct manager, to work flexi-time between 07h00 and 18h00.
With centrally located and modern offices just across from Cavendish in Claremont, Faircape offers a market-related salary from R 35 000 Cost to Company per month.
