Responsibilities:
To be responsible for the efficient installation, operation and maintenance of LPM’s and SDL’s with the ability to ensure you can fix and repair gaming equipment that is maintained by you. All employees must have a matric certificate to be employed by the company as per company policy.
Duties:
· Ensure you peruse, understand and comply with all regulatory functions as per the Gambling Board Rules, Regulations, Company’s HR policy and Internal Controls.
· Ensure you adhere to the dress code as approved by your manager
· To report for duty 10 minutes before a shift.
· Continuous absenteeism will not be tolerated as it effects the entire operation.
· Perform regular maintenance of LPM’s as per your schedule.
· Ensure that you clock in and out when performing site visits.
· Ensure you complete travel log correctly and submit all receipts, no later than the 25th of each month.
· Ensure all deliveries to sites are signed off by the relevant personnel.
· Ensure you complete all required registers correctly.
· Ensure you follow procedures for ram clear.
· Monitor use of cards for licensed staff at site and bring back cards where staff had resigned and helpdesk admin.
· Attend to all call outs within the expected time frame set by the General Manager.
· All call-outs must be closed with Help Desk within the time frame.
· Assist in showing punters how to play the machines and remain at the new sites until you are satisfied that the site owners understand how to handle the machines
· To maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene.
· At all times during working hours, staff uniform must be used.
· Co-operation with colleagues and seniors is expected at all times.
· To communicate with staff and management regarding technical matters.
· To report any irregularities relating to the security of technical equipment on the floor to management.
· On each monthly site visit make sure you verify change in ownership of Site Operators and confirm a change in financial interest application is submitted to the Board with the licensing department. Confirmation must be done by email.
· No drinks may be consumed at a site premises that is being maintained and operated by the company
· As a licensed employee with the Regulator of the province you are not allowed to gamble at a site that is licensed by the company you are employed
· Company vehicles must not be used for your personal use
· No passenger is allowed to be transported in the company vehicle
· No third party is allowed to drive the vehicle that has been assigned to you.
