Main Purpose of the Job Provide finance business partner support to the business, which entails finance decision making, financial planning and analysis, month-end billing operations and commercial management of business operations. Ensure that key financial and business objectives are met with regards to financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting and long-range plan/strategy, analysis, control, and regulatory requirements and deliver reporting for tracking of strategic objectives and key commercial initiatives. The role will also be responsible for building business cases for all new opportunities presented by the business and ownership and project manage the entire product life cycle from conception to retirement.
Management and preparation of the Long Range Plan in line with group guidelines.
Management and preparation of detailed zero based annual budgets in line with group guidelines.
Management and preparation of detailed zero based monthly rolling forecast.
Month on month and year to date measurement of performance against LRP, annual budget, forecasts, prior year, and prior month.
Management accounts trend analysis and commentary together with actionable insight and recommendations.
Analyse operational and financial data and make necessary recommendations to aid successful planning and budget utilisation.
Simplify and standardise reporting through formal BRS approval process with clear timelines on when the report will be delivered.
Preparation and management of performance tracking of business unit objectives and commercial initiatives through the development of a monthly business pack covering all components of the business such as Risk and Legal, Sales, Cx.
Preparation of market competitive analysis and relative performance.
Preparation and management of customer acquisition and retention performance tracking (Cost to connect analysis).
Preparation and management of product and services performance analysis by FNO, speed, symmetry, and contract term.
Provide insightful analysis of new customers revenue Billing and Churn Trend (unique customer count and total value and ARPU).
Provide insightful analysis of migration revenue Billing and Churn Trend (unique customer count and total value and ARPU).
Provide insightful analysis of FNO and Reseller revenue Billing and Churn Trend (unique customer count and total value and ARPU).
Provide insightful analysis of Voice revenue Billing and Churn Trend (unique customer count and total value and ARPU).
Manage the creation of Business Intelligence tools and Executive Dashboard on CRM, Billing and ERP. (Sales, Connections, Financial Results).
Preparation of group reporting.
Perform ad hoc reporting as required by business.
Finance Decision Support:
Ownership and project manage the entire product life cycle from conception to retirement.
Definition & development of the company’s entire product ecosystem.
Gather and correlate competitive insight from multiple sources and report back to management.
Perform competitor analysis.
Responsible for forecasting and trend analysis.
Perform industry/technical analysis.
Working hours and days is Monday to Friday, from 08h00 to 17h00.

Knowledge, qualifications and experience:
3 to 4 years’ experience as a Quantitative Analyst Specialist or in a similar role.
BSc.in Statistics, Financial Mathematics, Applied Mathematics and Computer Science.
B.Eng/ B.Sc/ B.B.Bus/ B Com Honours in Quantitative Analytics will be advantageous.
Advanced Computer Literacy:
Advanced skills in MS Office, SQL, Python, R, Advanced Excel is compulsory.
