As a Team Leader, your role would be to assist the team to satisfy the needs of inbound customer. This position is based in Cape Town, at their offices in the CBD or can be a work from home position
Your team: would be responsible for speaking directly with the clients via an inbound line and provide responses to general contract and transactional inquiries. Whilst doing this, you would resolve transaction processing work, identify and resolve issues timeously and have a good understanding of the product.
call centre experience : 2 to 3 years
team leader experience : 3 to 4 years
Individual should have: problem solving and analytic mind set, attention to detail, ability to work towards targets, patient and professional, reasonably tech savvy, type 30 wpm, be able to up-sell and take on board the training. Coming from a life insurance or financial services background will be an advantage. Ability to multi-task and navigate the system.
A neutral English accent is required and excellent verbal and written communication.
The working hours are between 9 pm to 7 am in a 9 hour shift from a Monday to Sunday work week. You will receive 2 days (may not be consecutive) off and 5 days on.
This is an office based position.
Candidate will need to have 12 months experience working in a BPO environment
You will receive: Thorough 8 - 10 week training off site, thereafter you will work in office. During Covid-19, staff will be transported to and from work.
Salary: Basic salary shift allowance, contribution paid by the company towards medical aid (voluntary), pension and associated risk contribution portion paid by company (voluntary) and an incentive based bonus. All benefits start on 1st day of training.
