The Training and Sales Assistant is responsible for implementing and assisting with the training of all new starters in the Sales Department, as well as assist with providing ongoing training as required. This is done to ensure that staff receive all the necessary training, evaluation and guidance that they require in order to become successful in their positions. Furthermore, the Training and Sales Assistant ensures that all system changes are communicated to the Sales teams and actioned accordingly.
Assist to review and update the training schedules to ensure that they align with business requirements;
Update all training material, such as training documents and scripts for training videos;
Ensure that training material is correct, easy to read and understand;
Distribute training material and set up training sessions, as required;
Update and improve existing assessments and quizzes;
Gather information and compile internal notifications, when required;
Provide assisstance to create documents which will assist the different departments when requested;
Research new techniques and material to continuously improve the training.
Assist with the on-boarding process for new employees;
Be able to navigate all systems and products efficiently and effectively;
Provide training to new and current employees in the sales department on key performance areas respective to each position;
Provide product training and CRM system training to new and current employees if required;
Schedule training, quizzes and assessments for new employees;
Review completed quizzes and assessments and determine the competency achieved;
Schedule retraining for new employees where necessary;
Assist with compiling and distribute internal notifications regarding system changes, updates, new features and training videos;
Facilitate all technical queries logged on Trello and ensure that effective communication occurs between the various departments;
Co-ordinate the client handover process.
Liase with HR department in order to schedule probation appraisals for the duration of employees' probations;
Prepare new business and courtesy targets for staff;
Monitor new business calls and courtesy calls to ascertain whether employees are achieving their targets.
Keep Records of training registers;
Ensure that effective inter-departmental and regional communication takes place;
Track stakeholder satisfaction;
Ensure that information is captured efficiently and that all relevant records are kept;
Ensure accuracy and accessibility of recorded information on the CRM system;
Oversee Trello and ensure queries are actioned timeosly;
Manage awareness level of HR department in terms of staff performance.

Completed bachelor's degree in relevant field (Public Relations, Marketing or communications)
2 to 3 years' experience in a training assistant position;
2 to 3 years' experience in a sales position.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
Knowledge of performance management processes and best practices.
