Our client requires the services of a White Maize Miller who will be responsible for taking control over a full production shift according to scheduled plan and pre-determined procedures and standards.

Key performance areas:

Maintain and adjust mill setting daily to ensure proper mill balance as per roll procedure
Responsible for proper process control to ensure conformance to product quality
Provide the required documentation to the head miller report preparation
Ensure correct amounts of raw materials are available in holding bins and that the quality is up to standard
Ensure that correct amount of premix is added
Adherence to the correct stacking and storage procedure
Ensure sufficient stock levels
Study and record test results hourly to ensure conformance to quality standards
Ensure the proper functioning of all equipment
Ensure that equipment is maintained according to standards
Supervise are applying the correct application and adherence of standard operating procedures and processes through training and coaching
Be actively in the OHS Systems, partake in OHS activities as and when directed

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate must have:

Must have matric with a GMF qualification
Full Spectrum Grain Grading
At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Must have experience in team management and reporting
Be Self-motivated, reliable and performance driven
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Must have a valid driver’s license with own reliable transport
