Our Client seeks to appoint the HR Manager to be based at their Head Office in Athlone.
The purpose of this position is to develop policy and plans that directs, coordinates and administers human resources activities of the organisation, such as employment, compensation, labour relations, regulatory compliance, benefits, training, and employee services
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business plan.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other I
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures throughout the organisation.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Assess training needs of staff members and organize learning and development programs.
- Provide appropriate reports to executive and management through HR metrics.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management process.
- Review HR departmental budgets and costs.

Required Skills:
- People orientated and results driven
- Excellent listening, negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of HR systems and procedures
- Knowledge of RSA labour laws and best practices
- Ability to foster healthy employee relationships
- Valid drivers licence and willingness to drive
Candidate Requirements
Requirements:
- Up to 5 years’ experience as an HR Manager with proven experience in labour laws
- Ability to use HR software
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field
