Our client, a fast paced equipment and machinery fabrication company, seeks to employ a well experienced and qualified Fabrication/Industrial Engineering Manager, to head up their machining and fabrication department, for their operation in Paarl.
Ideally, our best suited candidate will have a background in CNC programming and experience in machining and fabrication of machinery used in the food and beverage sector.
Key criteria and requirements to meet for consideration:
You will have completed a Diploma/Degree in Industrial Engineering, coupled with a minimum of 5-10 years experience in managing processes, fabrication specs for equipment, production improvements and quality, within machining and component manufacturing.
A certification in CNC programming will be highly advantageous
You will have proven experience in leading a multi-functional team, display strong leadership qualities to be able to ensure full optimization of the machine shop and align processes to ensure both quality and deadlines are met.
You will have a solid understanding of drawings and designs to meet demands and ensure the delivery of components and equipment according to spec and that the dimensions and CNC equipment are producing quality for successful builds
This role calls for a natural leader, a strong communicator and a “can do” attitude. with a flair for process improvements, production streamlining and reporting
