Our Centurion branch is seeking a dynamic individual to manage our counter sales and staff as well as ensuring our customers are served quickly, efficiently and in a professional manner.
Ensure that there are enough staff at the counter at all times to handle demands.
Ensure that incoming calls are answered quickly and messages returned promptly by staff.
Assist employees to strive towards service excellence in their dealings with customers.
Train new and existing staff on products and systems where required.
Ensure that each aspect of operations at the sales counter is kept at a professional level at all times.
Conduct housekeeping at the counter.
Operate the cash till as and when required.
Be fully knowledgeable and carry out the admin / finance functions and daily cash ups.
Ongoing follow up on inactive customers, and outstanding quotes.
When requested, technical advice must be given in a proficient and knowledgeable manner.
Ability to stand in and run the branch effectively in the absence of the Branch Manager.
2 years or more relevant work experience on a trade counter
Managerial experience an advantage
Reliable transport essential
Able to work alternate Saturdays from 8:00 to 12:00 and selected Public Holidays
Good knowledge and understanding of electronic security products
