One of MHCM’s clients, a household favourite Telecommunication company, has exciting positions available for 2 x Business Development Managers to join their team on a 6 months contract based in Midrand. This is your chance to unlock your potential and take full responsibility in driving business development activities within the consumer division.
This role is within the financial services sector. They are commitment to pushing the boundaries in Fintech innovation and they recently announced their partnership with the world’s largest Fintech player. They are looking for the highest calibre individuals to help drive their business development activities within the Consumer Fintech division. This division is primarily tasked with the creation and roll out of their upcoming consumer super app.
The goal of this role is to drive commercial and technical development discussions with external partners across a broad cross-section of sectors and report to the Executive Head. The ideal incumbent should have a strong track record of success in building, developing and managing business partnerships across digital channels. To excel in this role, you should have a business background that enables you to engage at the CxO level and a consumer product development background that enables you to identify high yielding partnerships and propositions.
The successful incumbent will possess the following knowledge and experience
Bachelor’s or honours degree in Business, Commerce, Economics or similar
8+ years of experience in business and/or product development roles in a high-performing organization
Experience in engaging and influencing C-level executives and strong familiarity with decision making processes in a customer and partner enterprise environment
Strong commercial acumen across digital industries with the ability to coordinate legal, technical and commercial teams to develop and close high-profile partnerships
Track record of partner account management, relationship building and commercial management skills with eCommerce experience a plus
Experience working with diverse and complex partner ecosystems
Excellent communication and charismatic presentation skills
