  • Discuss any new product information
  • Provide information on current sales performance of department
  • Provide feedback to all sales executives on individual performance against target
  • Allow the opportunity for relevant input from sales executives
  • Discuss CSI and S-CSI results and potential action plans
  • Manage stock levels and age analysis of all stock
  • Continuously update stock lists
  • Ensure accurate adherence to prescribed floor plan standards
  • Manage and update the Daily Operating Control sheet
  • Monitor collection of monies owed and floor plan settlements
  • Monitor all departmental sales activities
  • Use Training Needs Analysis to identify specific training needs for every sales executive
  • Prioritise training required and make the necessary booking
  • Complete training form feedback
  • Ensure briefing after training to establish competence of sales executive
  • Identify customer needs/trends
  • Understand marketing analysis/strategies
  • Implement relevant marketing approach in synergy with COMPANY SA (i.e. CI)
  1. Ensure demonstration vehicles are fuelled by sales executives
  2. Control the accurate ‘booking-out’ of demonstration vehicles going out on loan
  3. Manage timely availability of demonstration vehicles
  4. Ensure reporting of any possible damages to vehicles
  5. Control all necessary maintenance on vehicles
  6. Responsible for ordering all demonstration vehicles
  7. Ensure accurate and timely completion of all vehicle sales documentation
  8. Review vehicle sale debtor list frequently
  9. Prepare budget according to targeted units
  10. Prepare budget according to profitability projections
  11. Accurate manage of all costs/expenses
  12. Submit budget timeously
  13. Ensure timeous arrival for training courses
  14. Ensure all pre-read work subsequent to the training course has been done
  15. Responsible for self – development (i.e. familiar with latest competitor product information, industry tendencies etc.)
  16. Ensure effective understanding of vehicle evaluation procedure
  17. Complete all necessary evaluation documentation

 

  • Recruit staff, preferably via COMPANY SAs recommended recruitment process
  • Contribute to developing an enabling culture
  • Strive to retain talent
  • Develop succession plans for staff
  • Drive performance management
  • Coach and mentor junior staff
  • Ensure all staff are trained according to TNA
  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Acquire knowledge of Labour Relations Act

  • sales motor industry : 5 to 6 years

Candidate Requirements

 

  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
  • Drivers license
  • Motor Dealership Industry experience
  • Advantageous requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in business commerce, sales and or/marketing
  • Management diploma
  • Managerial experience within the Motor Dealership Industry
  • Computer specific systems knowledge (i.e. Oasis, Focus Pro)
  • Computer literate (Office suite
