My client, a well established concern in the agricultural industry is seeking to employ a Finance Officer with a relevant degree and completed articles.


  • Processing of financial data to trial balance, Balance sheets

  • Invoicing

  • Cash flow statements

  • Pastel posting

  • Budget controls

  • Journal provisions and adjustments

  • Monthly and quarterly and yearly financial reporting

  • Assisting with membership & financial queries,

  • General membership and audit administration recon to Pastel


  • Creditors

  • Debtors Management and recovery

  • Recon Debtors to membership status on online system

  • Source document checking, filing and incomplete reporting

  • Stock control

  • Prepare invoice list

  • Income distribution recon

  • VAT returns

  • Bank Recons

  • Petty cash and cheque requisitions

  • EFT payments and transfers, to authorisation levels

  • The allocation of international funding and foreign exchange reporting

  • Fixed asset register and depreciation

  • Statutory tax provisions and VAT submissions and e-filing

  • Depreciation and finance charge capturing

  • Preparation of payments

  • VAT sales, returns & submissions

  • Project Financial management

  • Forex payments

  • Recon contractor invoices to budget


  • Relevant degree
