Employer: Prostaff Recruitment
A well-established market leader specialising in the distribution of meat processing raw materials and equipment requires the above to manage and oversee the sales of capital food processing equipment to assigned Key Accounts within the Meat Processing, Bakery and Dairy markets.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Previous Sales or Key Accounts Sales Management experience having sold industrial machinery or related products into the Food or Meat Processing Industry is essential.

  • Must have knowledge of factory layouts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing relationships with Key Accounts within the Meat Processing industry as well as achieving sales targets in line with the budget.

  • Developing and implementing a structured market plan aimed at targeting and maintaining contacts with customers and suppliers.

  • Obtaining and reporting on general market information with regards to the needs of customers and status of relations with them.

  • Maintaining an intelligence database tracking the activities, requirements and developments of competitors within the market.

  • Establishing an operational sales plan and collect information regarding the product, market and competitors to aid effective customer visits.

  • Identifying and implementing the operational sales plans annually and achieve the objectives in terms of sales and margins.

  • Overseeing all activities relating to the sales process, including budget preparation and negotiating pricing with customers and suppliers.

  • Attending and organising commercial activities such as exhibitions, demonstrations and events.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
