This demanding position requires a person with strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate others and who can communicate effectively.
In this position the incumbent will be responsible for the operational affairs of the specific production site which will include: Production, Planning (logistics, raw materials, order entry), Health & Safety, Quality Control, Administrative and Financial functions.
In order to ensure the strategic and operational management of the feed mill a results’ driven mentality is required.
The incumbent is expected to lead and coordinate the branch departments and contractors and to optimise branch performance, therefore a proactive problem solving individual with strong financial skills are required.
The ability to show initiative and act thereon is essential, as well as the ability to meet deadlines in a pressurized environment. This position is not subject to regular working hours and the incumbent will be expected to be available after hours if required
