Right to Care Malawi a local not for profit organisation is at the vanguard in supporting and delivering prevention, care, and treatment services for HIV and associated diseases. We work with government and communities to find pioneering solutions to build and strengthening public healthcare.

Our areas of expertise include HIV and TB care and treatment, Maternal and childcare and education programs, pharmacy automation, medical male circumcision, and cervical cancer diagnosis and treatment.

 

RTC -Malawi in collaboration with PSI will be implementing VMMC project in two districts of Mulanje and Phalombe Districts in the southern region. RTC-Malawi seek to fill the following open positions on a 36 months fixed term contract and to be based at our Blantyre Offices.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

§  Work closely with the PSI M&E team in order to build in-house M&E capacity.

§  Coordinate all monitoring, evaluation, and information management activities carried out on the ground and will ensure accurate and timely reporting.

§  Support implementation of data management tools

§  Support implementation of electronic and paper-based data and information management systems in VMMC implementation districts.

§  Provide oversight and technical assistance to data staff to enable routine tracking and dissemination of priority information relating to VMMC services, according to Data Quality principles.

§  Undertake regular monitoring and technical support visits to the field clinics to assess progress against approved site Monitoring Plan

§  Assist in the update, alignment, and dissemination of M&E tools and data

§  Work closely with the Service Delivery and Demand Creation Coordinator to design activities to strengthen capacity of VMMC staff in M&E activities through provision of technical support skill assessment and training

§  Work closely with Service Delivery and Demand Creation Coordinator to conduct regular project reviews, Midterm reviews and final evaluation


Candidate Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum Requirements

§  Relevant qualification related to M&E

§  Intensive experience working with cooperating partners in public sector, NGO sector

§  Have a strong background of statistical methods analysis and evaluation of different donor requirements and procedures.

§  Be self-starter, team player and demonstrate verifiable result orientation track record

.

Desired experience

§  Degree in statistics, computing, monitoring and Evaluation

§  Minimum of 2 years’ experience and familiar with statistical software.

§  Experience in VMCC monitoring and evaluation programme at district and national level

TECHNICAL AND BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES

§  Able to work independently

§  Attention to detail

§  Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills

§  Good experience in working with different teams

§  Excellent oral and written communication skills
