Job Specifications

The main purpose of this role is to effectively manage the staff, clients and deliverables of assigned DSV operations by ensuring that it is aligned with the overall objectives and processes

of the organization and the resources are fully utilized to ensure optimal delivery of services to our clients.


Duties & Responsibilities

To manage and be responsible for the following tasks:

Delivery of the organization’s objectives through communication, measurement and motivation of the staff.

Interface with shared functions ensuring continuous cooperation and interactions with these functions.

Deliver on client’s commitments based on local, national and global strategy.

Ensure compliance to internal and external controls and other KPI’s set at global and local level.

Identify opportunities and risks within the business that may impact the business environment and ability to deliver to shareholder commitments.

Staff’s performance and growth to create a sustainable business environment.

Adherence to deadlines and schedules.

Controlling resources and risk management.

Administrative duties relevant to the position.

Interacting with customers at all levels – in person and telephonically.

Work instruction and SOP formulation and monitoring including adherence management.

Training of staff as required

Maintain existing systems processes and controls with continuous improvement.

Operational requirements and SLA’s

Conduct client visits/interactions

Candidate Requirements

Additional Computer Skills

Experience and knowledge of working on Query logger.

Experience and knowledge of working on dispatcher online and connect


Job-related Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the logistics or courier/warehouse environment.

Intermediate computer literacy level

Previous experience in managing or supervising a team.

People skills – Ability to manage and develop people

IR skills – Basic understanding of the disciplinary process.

Own Reliable transport to and from work

Valid, unendorsed Code 08 driver’s license.

Ability to work overtime / shifts should it be needed.
