  • This position will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service through all outbound dispatching of finished goods, best in class warehouse practice, invoices correctly captured, accurate pulling of stock and admin functions correctly implemented.
  • This position is also the communication link for sales - regarding daily stock availability for order fulfilment, delivery scheduling etc – to enhance our customer experience
  • Communicating accurate daily stock figures to production & procurement





    • Ensure all finished goods are stored according to good warehouse practices. (ISO 22000 requirements)

    • Ensure that all warehouse and admin systems are correctly followed

    • Ensure the warehouse is cleaned according to food safety standards.

    • Be responsible for the recycling and removing of all waste under Dispatch control

  • ADMIN & HR

    • Manage and coach the warehouse staff to deliver exceptional customer service

    • Management of staff incentives

    • Be responsible for the accurate recording of all forms

    • Be responsible for all forms supplied by the Food Safety Quality Manager


    • Ensure finished goods received from production are checked according to the production sheet and signed for by both authorised personnel

    • Double check that labelling on outer cartons is correct

    •  distribution stock received and checked for damages, qty & BB Dates


    • Follow the Sales Order to Invoice process flawlessly

    • Prioritise Sales Orders (SO) after consultation with sales team

    • Supervise assistants in what stock needs to be picked and when

    • Ensure all batch numbers are correctly recorded on the SO

    • Check that all stock is pulled according to FIFO and customer minimum shelf life requirements

    • Ensure all relevant signatures are recorded

    • Check stock picked is correct according to SO

    • Convert the checked SO to invoice, delivery note and a copy tax invoice.

    • Any short stock or errors on SO’s communicated immediately with sales team and SO and invoice amended accordingly.

    • Ensure that the delivery notes are signed for by the driver or person collecting the stock.

    • At end of the day all processed SO’s/Invoices must be taken to the sales office with a summary of the days invoices to ensure they are accounted for.

    • Ensure that all outbound stock is packed, wrapped and secured as per guidelines


    • Responsible for accurately recording, on the goods returned form, all stock returned from the trade into non-conforming warehouse 911

    • Responsible for the clearing out of stock timeously from warehouse 911



    • Conduct all cycle stock counts and ensure integrity of the counts

    • Conduct all monthly stock counts and ensure stock integrity in Pastel




    • Providing daily accurate information on stock levels to production

    • Ensure that the business has a weekly update on the aging stock report


    • Balance weekly loads countrywide with company trucks and outsourced partners

    • Balance route cost and efficiency with excellent customer service

    • Support the designed systems for: Truck Haul, Exports, Local Distributors, local retailers, and Courier and exceed customer expectations.


    • Hourly communication with sales on order customer stock availability, fulfilment and scheduling

    • Attend a Monthly meeting with Analyst, Sales head, Procurement, Production head in terms of 3-month fulfilment

Candidate Requirements





  • Matric

  • Computer literacy

  • Courses in Good Warehouse Practice, stores and inventory management

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related position with experience in warehouse management and inventory control.

  • 2 years Route scheduling experience

  • Basic cost management


Preferable Qualifications/Experience/Ability/Skills:




  • Diploma in Supply Chain
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Should have good communication skills
  • Should have good record keeping skills
