Vacancy Details

Employer: New World Personnel

Reception:

  • Answering phones, and addressing queries,  
  • Make appointments, take messages, Solve message requests
  • Welcome the patients , beaware of each days scheduled patients and prepare
  • Offer tea/coffe to patients waiting and see to their needs
  • Collection of data for statistical purposes.
  • Hospitality and neatness of reception areas

Bookkeeping:

  • Capture all cash sales and assist audiologist if required
  •  Receiving of payments and issuing of a receipt 
  • Daily cashup (daily activity sheet) and banking twice per week
  • Comply with admin procedure guidelines
  • Accept full responsibility of all cash at the branch
  • Banking done timeously on a weekly basis

Stock Control;

  • Receive and check parcels from suppliers
  • Pricing repairs
  • Stock take every month or as requested by head office
  • Keep stock locked up - accept full responsibilty of stock

Debtors;

  • Allocating account numbers to new patients
  • Debt collections - patients and medical aids
  • Handle debtors queries

Admin;

  • Hand patients the patient information form to complete and assist where necessary
  • Make a copy of he/her ID and medical aid card
  • Forward all admin related paperwork to h.o
  • Allocate account number and open new file on Syspro for all new patients
  • Follow up on medical aid authorisations and claims
  • Petty cash
  • Open mail
  • Postage:  Receive and check parcels as soon as they come in
  • Receive and distribute faxes

Audiology;

  • Basic test of hearing aids
  • Replacing of ear mould tubing
  • Battery and filter replacements
  • Clean ultra vac every second week at least
  • Basic product knowledge and be able to explain it to clients if needed.

Marketing;

  • Send letters out to patients in filing system
  • Keep accurate recod of incoming calls
  • Keep record of phone call to followup with marketing material

Other;

  • Purchasing of consumables for the office ie tea, coffee, mild, flowers
  • Descaling coffee machine
  • Assistance with workshops, seminars etc
  • Backup cleaner for cleaner, barista, admin
  • Any reasonable task received   from management

 

 


Candidate Requirements

Min matric

Fully bilingual English /Afrikaans

Have own transport, 

Strong customer satisfaction focus

syspro would be an advantage but not essential.

Medical field experience is essential
