ISTQB – Foundation testing certification is a must.
Relevant IT Tertiary Qualification.
3 – 5 years’ relevant experience in an environment that services a full range of business requirements.
Experience in software testing including methodologies (agile, functional and non-functional), test planning, test case development, execution, and quality assessment of test cases.
Training on relevant external technologies is an advantage. E.g. SQL Server, TFS, MS Visual Studio.
Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
Possesses good understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance concepts across the SDLC.
Proven leadership ability.
Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
Understand test metrics and how they are used for decision support.
Understand development practices and structures; SQL & database query tools.
Experience with Requirements Management, Test Management and Defect Management Tools.
Demonstrates cross-functional expertise and be highly adaptive and flexible with the ability to thrive in a highly complex and ever-changing environment.
Ability to lead a team and work independently.
Willing to work extended hours.
Willing to travel.
Ability to effectively convey information of a highly technical nature to non-technical audiences for example, between Finance and Technology.
