PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible to manage the operations of the auditing and training activities. The manager is responsible for setting and delivering the annual budgeted revenues and LC targets for the group in conjunction with the Business Manager. Responsible to manage the processes, applications and reports in support of strategic objectives within the approved Global framework.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

* Compile and maintain the annual budget in alignment with the business plan.
* Responsible for the performance versus budget in cooperation with the Sales Team.
* Adhere to all procedures, division policies and procedures.
* Ensure that the Training Academy is managed in accordance with the Company's procedures.
* Implementation of the management system requirements.
* Ensure the training, development and motivation of staff.

* Keep abreast of the skills development requirements and relevant legislation.
* Implement principles around facilitation, assessment and moderation.
* Understanding of the SETA landscape and manage the SETA Accreditation process of all training and skills programs.
* Manage the process of identifying learning needs, applicable methodologies, development of learning material and assessments of the workforce/learners according to legal requirements, applicable international standards (ISO) and in alignment with the Global Learning Strategy, frameworks, policies and guidelines.
* Assess the target population profiles for learning requirements as well as learning intervention details in order to determine whether the invention needs to be developed.
* Develop and/or select learning methodologies of specific modules in line with relevant Learning legislation and Industry requirements.
* Facilitates and manages the process in delivering learning interventions through a variety of learning methodologies. (eLearning)
* Implement eLearning platform in line with the global Training Academy roll-out.
* Ensures adherence to and implementation of learning guidelines and frameworks e.g. policies, processes and legislation.
* Develop and register all Training programs in line with relevant legislation or other requirements.
* Rapidly responding to meet changing business environments, opportunities and threats.
* Process and Systems management, which includes:
* Optimizing and improving systems and processes in ways that deliver productivity gains, whilst driving an integrated learning environment;
* Ensure a good level of internal control within the group;
* Evaluate and determine improvement criteria.
* Coordination and compilation of monthly report for the Division for the Business Manager by the first Friday of every month.
* Maintain the client database in the learner Management System.
* Approval of subcontractor invoices, purchase orders, travel arrangements, IDN's and invoices.
* Profitability analyses both pro-active and retrospective.
* Rolling revenue forecasts at least three months ahead.
* React promptly to client enquiries and ensure service excellence.
* Support to local Training Sales Team.
* Adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the Company's management system.
* Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct line manager.

AUDITING DIVISIONS

* Overseeing the entire administration process of the performance assessments and 2"" party auditing service delivery:
* Proposal to Contract in collaboration with the Sales team scheduling auditor allocation
* Processing of audit pack
* Delivery of final report to customer
* Uploading onto relevant platforms.
* Prepare the budget in alignment with the business plan.
* Adhere to all procedures. Divisional policies and procedures, and all Global Client Plans.
* Evaluation of all performance assessment and 2nd party audit documentation/files.
* Ensure a good level of internal control within the group.
* Evaluate and determine improvement criteria.
* Customer liaison and project management of all performance assessment and 2nd party auditing projects.
* Development of relevant auditing templates for use of the auditors and updating when relevant.
* Ensure that project team members receive relevant communication on all changes in legislation and that internal training is conducted for all to ensure that they are informed of changes.
* Conduct research and implement systems to ensure that the changes in legislation is identified and communicated with all relevant team members.
* All complaints and compliments are logged, investigated and feedback given to the client.
* React promptly to client enquiries and ensure service excellence.
* Adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the Company's management system.
* Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct line manager.

PROFILE

* Cease the use of any equipment that may be deemed to constitute a safety hazard or enter hazardous environments without the necessary knowledge and protection and report the situation to higher authority to take action.
* Cease to carry on with work that may affect the quality (integrity) of services and report the situation to higher authority to take action.
* Initiate a formal improvement request when a deviation of the system occurs, possible improvements are identified or when nonconformity is identified.

REQUIRED SKILLS

DUCATION

- Relevant tertiary education or relevant training with 5 - 8 years relevant experience in training.

- Experience in the field of training including course design, development and adult education/learning styles.

- A recognized Lead Auditor's qualification is preferred.

EXPERIENCE

- 5 - 1O years operational/management experience in business activities of training and auditing.

- Strong service industry background with small team involvement.

- Client liaison.

- Management of a KPI driven operation.
