TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Helpdesk Operator within the Corporate Services Division at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.

Responsibilities and Duties 



  • Provide first-line support to end users who face problems with computer software and hardware

  • If possible, provide appropriate solutions to problems via phone or email

  • Follow standard help desk procedures

  • Log all help desk interactions

  • Redirect problems to correct IT personnel

  • Identify and escalate problems requiring urgent attention

  • Serve as liaison between internal users and the IT Department

  • Inform IT Department of recurring problems

  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates

  • Log and manage support requests with network service providers



Qualifications and Skills 



  • Matric / Grade 12

  • Relevant degree/diploma (advantageous)

  • Computer literate (MS Office)

  • Knowledge of operations of hardware, software and other equipment

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Time management skills and ability to work under pressure

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Customer service orientation

  • Attention to detail
