TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Manager (Claims) within the Insurance Department at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.

Responsibilities and Duties:



  • Responsible for managing the insurance claims department composed of examiners and adjusters

  • Operate in one or more claims processing units, including the timely and proper disposition of claims in accordance with coverage amounts

  • Oversee insurance claims for personal, property, or casualty loss based on coverage, appraisal, and verifiable damage

  • Ensure complete and sound claim settlements, legal reviews and investigations in accordance with company policies and procedures

  • Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility

  • Resolve escalated issues arising from operations

  • Coordination with other departments



Qualifications and Skills:



  • Matric / Grade 12

  • Relevant Degree/Qualification 

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in claims handling (Personal & Commercial)

  • Minimum 3 years' management experience

  • Experience in Mandates and Policy Administration (advantageous)

  • Completed Regulatory Examinations (RE5 & RE1)

  • Advanced knowledge and experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
