A well-established supplier of laboratory instrumentation and equipment into the various industries requires the above to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory by effectively selling the company’s products and related services.

Minimum requirements for the role:



  • BSc. Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or related is essential.

  • Previous Sales experience within Chromatography as well as Micro Consumables is essential.

  • Previous Sales experience is preferred; however, the company will consider a candidate with a strong Sales personality to be trained into the above role.

  • The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s licence as well as their own vehicle.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be able to work well under pressure within a fast-paced environment.

  • The successful candidate must be willing to travel when required to do so.


The successful candidate will be responsible for:



  • Managing current key accounts and developing new business.

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers.

  • Implementing and monitoring all sales and marketing strategies for a range of products as well as maintaining sales and services at a satisfactory level.

  • Performing equipment demonstrations for customers when required to do so.

  • Addressing and resolving customers’ queries as they arise.

  • Researching and driving strategies to develop the market.

  • Coordinating and participating in client meetings.

  • Generating and compiling quotations and following up on placed orders.

  • Drafting and presenting product-related presentations at seminars and exhibitions when required to do so.

  • Achieving monthly and annual Sales targets.

  • Identifying areas of growth within the assigned region and creating possible strategies to drive the growth.


Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
