Dis-Chem Pharmacies Offices in Delmas has an opportunity available for a Debtors Accounts Clerk. The main purpose of the role will be to Reconcile accounts and collect outstanding debt payable to the CJE Group according to standard operating procedures.


Minimum Requirements…
Essential:
• Grade 12 / Matric
• 2- 3 years’ experience in Accounts


Advantageous:
• Relevant Finance Qualification


Job Specification…
• Processing of bank statements and receipts.
• Manage new customer credit applications.
• Ensure correct reconciliation and a timeous payment.
• Ensure that reconciliations are finalized and approved according to internal deadlines.
• Ensure correct payment terms are adhered to.
• Resolve outstanding invoices and claims on reconciliation.
• Follow up on queries raised on accounts with Debtors
• Maintain cordial lines of communication with Clients.
• Complete various excel schedules.
• Establish and maintain a sound relationship with internal and external customers to facilitate the effective      management of accounts.
• Manage office stationery.
• Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed to collect money from customers.

Competencies
Essential:
• Debtors and Creditors knowledge
• Be able to apply logic to a problem, daily task consists of queries, investigation, reconciliation and                application
• Computer Skills – Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• English – Read, write and speak well
• Intermediate financial skills
• Trustworthy and Honest
• Attention to detail
• Deadline driven 


Advantageous:
• 2nd Additional language


Special conditions of employment:
