A large Collections firm with Head Office located in JHB. This position is based at their small Durban Office.

Job Description

 

We are seeking an Admitted Attorney with minimum 5-7 years’ experience in Litigation and Collections ideally in a larger firm (Defended and Undefended). General Admitted Senior Associate Level Attorney duties and responsibilities will apply. Management of 4 staff (2 paralegals, 1 Driver and 1 Receptionist). Handling of all correspondent work from the main Gauteng Based Office and Call Centre. This is a demanding, high work load  role which will require long hours. It is a busy department with large volumes and the person will be required to manage a team of staff and run and take complete ownership of the department and branch in Umhlanga Rocks. The firm does collections for all the major banks and Retail Industries.


Candidate Requirements

Qualifications

LLB Degree. Admitted Attorney. 5-7 years Post Qualification experience in Collections Litigation.

Skills

Exceptional Leadership skills. Proven ability to effectively manage a branch and small team effectively.
