The successful candidate will take responsibility for the following:

 

  1. Provide administrative sales support to the Financial Advisors with sales support functions including:

    • Preparation and population of application forms for new business

    • Provide quotations and sales support to the advisors

    • Application form and attachments needed for policy conversions

    • Check for the correctness and completeness of all applications and revert back to Financial Advisor if missing information/fields are found

    • Process and monitor new business issued

    • Assist Financial Advisors in arranging for medicals

    • Liaise with underwriters and other issuers to gather information or communicate requests/queries as needed

    • Undertake case tracking for Financial Advisors

    • Provide after-sales services support

    • Co-ordinate direct requests/appointments between Office Manager and Financial Advisors

    • Assists the intermediaries with the relevant product information

    • Monitor outstanding premiums

       

  2. Develop and maintain relationships

    • Contribute towards the maintenance of existing customer relationships with the company

 


Candidate Requirements

 

Qualification & experience

 

  • Grade 12

  • 3 years proven experience in office administration/Personal Assistant/Secretary

  • Preferably have financial services administration experience

     

Knowledge and Skills:

·         MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

 

·         SanPort, including SanFin and SanQuote

 

 

Business:

 

·         PA and secretarial processes and tasks

 

·         Document management, filing

 

·         Business etiquette

 

·         Client service

 

·         Financial Services knowledge (basic)

 

·         Sanlam products knowledge (basic)

 

·         Advisor sales processes (New Business and Existing Business processes)

 

Personal Attributes:

 

·         Time management

 

·         Planning and organising

 

·         Good team player

 

·         Attention to detail

 

·         Problem solver

 

·         Good communicator and relationship builder
