To shape the performance and development systems for all employees, designing and supporting talent management frameworks including performance management, succession planning and human resource planning whilst guiding and managing Human Resources services for the organization

To align HR strategy, operations and policies to strategic direction, labour legislation and prescripts governing public entities.

Duties & Responsibilities

Management of HR administration and ensure that all comply with the company's policies and procedures

 Draft and update HR policies and train employees on it.

 Manage the recruitment and selection process including Job Descriptions, Reference Checks and Contracts

 Prepare documentation associated with Job Offers and Employment Contracts

 Assist with any Disciplinary Procedures

 Ensure the compilation of Employment Equity Plan and submission to Labour Department.

 Manage all Industrial Relations processes with relation to performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures.

 Leave balance maintenance (Immediately flag high leave Balance)

Ensure the development of a comprehensive performance
management policy
 Manage the process of performance assessments /
evaluations of employees
 Interpret and respond to poor results, excellent results of all
assessments together with department manager
 Manage and apply corrective action where necessary

Required Skills

  • human resources administration : 8 to 9 years
  • management : 3 to 4 years
  • industrial relation : 4 to 5 years

Candidate Requirements

Degree in Human Resources Management or Equivalent
 Eight (8) years human resources administration
experience of which three (3) years must be at
management level

Knowledge of all applicable Acts: SDA, PFMA, LRA,
BCEA, EE,
 Industrial Relation experience
 CCMA experience
 Project Management
