A leading ICT company is looking for a Product Manager with great business and technical skills. The PM owns and drives the product management strategy. As a PM in the team, you'll engage internal and external customers and other product managers to identify new product opportunities, define & design product features, and work work closely with development teams.

Successful applicants will have experience building business cases, defining products, leading diverse, cross functional teams, positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and be able to adapt and iterate quickly. You get to contribute in all stages of the product lifecycle. From defining product requirements to the design stage, building out a roadmap strategy, defining pricing/special bundles, helping customers through field trials and programs, releasing the product for general availability all the way to transitioning customers to new releases. Use their market focus and expertise and align to the regional product strategy to ensure that the product remains relevant, sustainable, compelling and competitive within the markets they are designed to serve.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Conduct continuous research to grow market knowledge and develop market insights.

2. Work with Marketing colleagues to perform client, competitor and market analysis.

3. Source or develop concepts for new products to investigate.

4. Determine the feasibility of the concept for development and investigate new product concepts.

5. Take responsibility for the definition, monitoring and management of the lifecycle roadmap for each product in the portfolio.

6. Contribute to vetting the suitability of vendors and partners/alliances and suppliers as components of the product value chain.

7. Ensure the relevant internal stakeholders are educated on new or enhanced product offering to enable sales optimization and client satisfaction.

8. Work with Sales and Product Marketing colleagues to assist with analysing current market trends that ensures the company delivers product that are relevant to clients and the market.

9. Work with other stakeholders to understand the full set of input costs and market factors influencing the price of the product/s and for setting optimal product pricing.


Requirements: Education, Training and Experience

  • General Qualification in Business Management (Degree)

  • Relevant training will be an advantage


  • 5 – 10 years’ working experience

  • At least 5 years’ working experience in related environment

  • Experience in Forecasting, Pricing, and Promotions for highly technical enterprise products

  • Strong domain expertise in Advanced Networking (L2/L3), and SDN/NFV/NaaS/Waas and understanding of market dynamics, competition, etc.

  • Demonstrated ability to create highly compelling product marketing collateral

  • Effective spokesperson skills engaging small and large customer groups

  • Ability to establish trusted relationship with 3rd party vendors

  • Ability to translate technology features into business benefits
