 National Construction Company has a vacancy for a Fleet Manager based at their Bloemfontein Head Office. 

 

          

 

  Maintain departmental compliance

•             Implement policies and procedures

•             Ensure departmental adherence to applicable laws & regulations

•             Recordkeeping

•             Managing employees

•             Schedule, route, maintain and track fleet

•             Negotiate with suppliers

•             Resolve disputes

•             Analyse the effectiveness of operations

•             Work closely with maintenance team to find ways to reduce downtime due to repairs

•             Extensive Traveling.


Candidate Requirements

B.Com or Logistics Qualification

•             Ten plus years of fleet and equipment management experience.

•             Construction background

•             Experience in utility construction and required safety practices.

•             Microsoft Excel skills required.

•             High standards of accuracy and attention to detail.

•             Ability to appropriately prioritize work in a deadline driven environment.

•             Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•             Ability to work with team members in a hands-on capacity.

•             Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with professionals throughout all levels of the organization.
