RS Recruitment Services is assisting a well-established, successful LOGISTICS company, to recruit an OPERATIONS CONTROLLER/INTERNAL SALESPERSON, to be based in NEW GERMANY. 

Responsibilities:

Accept and accurately analyse and interpret customer orders

Formulation and submission of quotations

Manage 5 to 6 different rigging crews

Assist with appropriate allocation of equipment and crew

Co-ordinate timing and duration of work to be done

Invoicing

Remuneration:

R20 000 NEG basic + benefits.

Very good commission structure – can earn up to 50% of basic salary.

Company pays half of provident fund contribution.

Medical Aid and company life and funeral cover.

Required Skills

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should have/be the following:

A tertiary level technical qualification, (N6 or similar) - an advantage

Advanced Excel skills – an advantage

Experience in the construction, engineering or logistics industries

Must be able to calculate specific loads – estimated weight & size of loads

Must have a valid driver’s licence

Must have own vehicle - to use initially (will be compensated)

Experience in rigging, must understand the concept of leverage – an advantage

Excellent administrative skills – able to quote and chase up on jobs

Customer service oriented, able to build good customer relationships

Ability to communicate at all levels

Excellent problem solving and ability to assess technical difficulty of rigging jobs.

Excellent ability to plan and organise workflow

Analytical thinking skills, Logical brain, versatile, adaptable

Ability to come across and exude confidence to prospective clients and gain their trust
