Assistant Food & Beverage Manager – Cape Town CBD


 


Our client is seeking to employ an Assistant F&B Manager to join their team in Cape Town City Centre


 


The successful candidate will be running 5 F&B outlets, and need to run F&B in the absence of F&B Manager


 


 Main Duties & Responsibilities



  • Assist in the managing of F&B outlets as required, ensuring the smooth running of the outlet/s, taking full advantage to maximize revenue potential and ensure guest satisfaction in compliance with the company policies and procedures

  • Ensure the highest standards of service excellence and quality in the food and beverage department

  • Facilitate learning and development for all the team members of the outlet

  • Implement systems and procedures that achieve higher cost efficiency and guest satisfaction

  • Responsible for certain reporting deadlines, payroll and rosters

  • Monitoring and controlling of various operating equipment, standards and inventories.

  • Monitoring and controlling food and beverage costs and variances

  • Must ensure that duties are carried out in accordance with Leading Quality Assessment (LQA) standards

  • Assist in all F&B outlets as and when required


 


Required Qualifications & Experience:



  • Must have 2-3 year’s experience in same or similar role within a luxury hotel environment

  • Guest / Staff Focused

  • Team Orientation

  • Must be flexible with regards to working hours

  • A motivated individual with good communication and interpersonal skills

  • As this is a position of honesty and integrity, the successful candidate should possess a positive credit and criminal history as per our client’s requirements


                                              


 


Salary – Negotiable depending on experience
