Reporting to the Head of the Project Office, you will be leading a team of Business Analysts responsible for the analysis, process mapping, documentation and delivery of Projects across various business functions.

 

Responsibilities

·         Collaborate with Stakeholders and Project team to document and deliver Projects effectively

o    Understand strategic objectives, business cases and key success criteria for all assigned Projects

o    Provide input into high level scoping of business requirements and solution design

o    Drive quality assurance through alignment of business requirements to final delivery output

o    Manage business requirements and monitor the delivery of all requirement specifications, ensuring that quality is achieved through application of best practices

o    Build strong relationships with key Project Sponsors and Business Owners

o    Act as the bridge between the business and the IT delivery teams

o    Manage capacity and resource allocation for supporting delivery

o    Ensure compliance to governance processes for all assigned Projects

·         Act as escalation point for all business analysis related queries

·         Contribute to the continuous improvement of the business analysis competency within the Project Office as well as governance processes

·         Represent the Project Office at Management forums and Project meetings

·         Build knowledge and maintain a repository of all Company products, business processes and systems

·         Manage, mentor and develop the team for optimal performance, engagement and succession


Required Skills

  • Senior BA : 5 to 6 years

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Requirements

·         Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or higher

·         Business Analysis certification 

·         A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst with a proven track record of delivering large complex projects simultaneously

·         Knowledge and thorough understanding of best practice Business Analysis methodologies

·         A practical understanding of the system development lifecycle and product life cycle, database and system design

·         Experience in Testing and QA Methodologies

·         Advanced computer skills (Microsoft- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Office, Visio)

·         Broad knowledge of business and financial products

o    Product knowledge of retail store cards, credit cards, loans and insurance products

o    Knowledge of credit systems (e.g.: Vision Plus, New business acquisition systems, credit decision systems) – advantageous

·         People management experience

·         Financial Services and/or Retail experience

·         Project management diploma or exposure – advantageous

·         Experience within an Agile environment – advantageous

·         Sound organisational skills with strong documentation and reporting abilities

·         Excellent attention to detail with the ability to consider the bigger picture

·         Sound judgment and decision making
