Exciting opportunities have become available for X2 Area Manager’s – KZN to be based at KZN Umhlanga. This position is responsible for implementing national strategies and ensuring efficient department management to grow the customer base and increase revenue. Management of the departments operations and reporting, which includes improving the area’s financial performance in terms of sales, cost control, productivity and efficiency, resource planning, customer service levels, reporting and company policies, legislative and statutory policies. Ensure there is compliance with legislative requirements and standards of excellence


Candidate Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of 2-3 years Leadership/Managerial experience.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years Sales/Marketing/Operations experience.
  • Valid Driver’s Licence for a minimum of 1 year.
  • Willingness to travel, do shift and weekend work.  

Advantageous

  • Relevant Diploma/Degree.
  • Project Management Experience. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure growth targets  are achieved. Analyze financial information to identify trends, manage costs and to increase revenue. Ensure proactive reporting on these areas.
  • Retains and continuously seeks to increase revenue generating opportunities through growth in the department by identifying new opportunities and partnerships.
  • Actively implement new business opportunities and marketing campaigns nationally to streamline the industry experience and increase the customer base.
  • Regular visits to Branches.
  • Ensure that all Team Members receive full training before commencement of duties. 
  • Actively suggests enhancements in the functionality of the industry platform/application, taking into account the different industry types and customer profiles related to these. Conduct market analysis/research to make suggestions for improvements.
  • Working closely with the Marketing team. Managing the implementation of marketing campaigns nationally involving a variety of industry types and customer groups by identifying the customer group and needs and directing the marketing campaigns to attract customers.
  • Manage relationships with the suppliers and other such affiliates.
  • Ensure efficient operations through managing the processes and functions across the department, including operational support staff and staff allocated regionally.
  • Implement retention strategies to retain new customers and increase industry activity.
  • Review inactive customer base and develop strategies to convert them to active status.
  • Responsible for staff management of the department, setting direction/targets, conducting performance reviews and conducting the day to day people management functions such as salaries, overtime, shortages, IR functions etc. 
  • Manage efficiencies in the department and enhance department workflow processes.
  • Work closely with the departments support center.
  • Daily, Weekly and Monthly management reporting.
  • Any other related duties that might be required.

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Good knowledge of Financial Management and Impressive presentation and facilitation experience.

  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong People Management skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Good report writing skills. (Verbal and written).
