Our Stellenbosch based client operating within the financial services industry is seeking a Corporate Sales Executive to identify corporate sales opportunities by detecting prospects and evaluating their position in the industry. They will also be required to sell Class of Business and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) product offerings by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects.

The successful candidate will be able to work well in a high pressure environment and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. He or she will be passionate about sales, results-driven and proactive.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain a strong partnership with top financial and insurance organisations
  • Deliver on all the national B2B activities
  • Define the budget, forecast and business planning
  • Gather and organise all feedback received from the market in terms of competition, opportunities and trends
  • Develop Sales and Customer service strategies and procedures
  • Handle and monitor reporting and sales reports
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and risk controls
  • Achieve set sales and customer service targets in order to achieve service level standards
  • Management of relationships and SLA’s

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Arts or another relevant tertiary qualification (preference will be given to a post graduate qualification)
  • 3 years’ Sales experience in an Academic/Insurance/Financial organisation
  • A proven sales success record
  • Strong technical knowledge in Education Entrepreneurship and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) within Finance and Insurance
  • FSCA Regulatory knowledge – Board Notice 194
  • Proof of RE5 (Essential) and RE1 (Advantageous)
  • Proficient in MS Office and data entry
  • Must be able and happy to travel extensively
