A Data Analytics Consultant to join a highly experienced and growing team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Transforming data into business value and insight
  • Data analysis and presentation
  • Advanced SQL querying skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Data Analytics Architecture and concepts
  • Business Intelligence and Decision Support concepts
  • Architecting Report and dashboard solutions
  • Managing projects and tasks, as well as executing tasks within specified timelines across the teams

  • MCSE (Business Intelligence SQL 2012/2014/2016)
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud Certification (Data Analytics)
  • MSc Computer Science / BSc Statistics / BCom Informatics or Information Systems (Preferred / Advantage) or Equivalent Experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years or more solid experience in developing and maintaining Data Analytics (Business Intelligence) solutions
  • Minimum of 2 year or more experience in the Microsoft SQL Business Intelligence suite (SSIS, SSAS and SSRS)
  • A solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
  • A solid understanding of Dimensional Modelling and Data Warehouse design (Kimball)
  • Experience with the build of ETL processes in SSIS or Azure Data Factory
  • Experience with SSAS Multi-Dimensional and Tabular Models
  • Experience with MDX or DAX query languages
  • Experience building Solutions with Power BI
  • Experience with Report and Dashboard delivery
  • Exposure to Microsoft Power BI and Power BI Integration with On-Premise Solutions
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure Services for Data Analytics and Data Platform (Microsoft Cortana Analytics)
  • Microsoft SQL Business Intelligence suite

Candidate Requirements

You have good knowledge in the following:

  • Data Warehouse (Dimensional Model) design and principals based on Ralph Kimball methodologies
  • Knowledge and understanding of data warehousing in within cloud environments (Azure Data Warehouse)
  • Designing and implementing Data Analytics and Business Intelligence solutions using the
  • Software development lifecycle and different project delivery methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc.)
  • ETL solutions using SSIS or ADF
  • Building Power BI reports and dashboards
