OVERALL OBJECTIVES

  • The responsibilities of such position are inter alia:
  • Ensure that all payments due for Credit Clients are collected in accordance with the credit agreement;
  • Investigate / follow up on clients allocated for Import cash;
  • Investigate / follow up on clients allocated for Export cash.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Emailing clients the credit client / statements as per the credit agreements;
  • Printing of invoices to accompany statement as requested by VIP clients;
  • Follow up on payments due from clients;
  • Follow up on all queries for credit clients;
  • Request for funds from unidentified list, compile docs for receipting and hand to receipting clerk;
  • Recording on SAP any disputes on the Dispute management module;
  • Escalate overdue payments to sales and accounts manager;
  • Investigate and follow up on import and export cash reports for allocated clients;
  • Report on cash clients on a weekly basis;
  • Sign for the pops received by the export department for export cash clients;
  • Escalate all overdue late debits for cash clients to sales team.

Required Skills

  • accounts receivable : 2 to 3 years
  • sap : 1 to 2 years

Candidate Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

The incumbent must be a hardworking, motivated individual who is able to cope well under pressure.  The individual must have good client liaison, good telephone manner and must be a team player.

2 to 3 years accounts receivable experience.  Previous shipping knowledge is an advantage.  Must have matric, tertiary qualification an advantage.  BEE candidate.

Salary between R11k to R15k, depending on experience.
