JOB DUTIES:

Responsible for providing preventative maintenance schedules, reports and any other infomation that is required.

Manage and control the Electronic Asset Management (EAM) System.

Ensure plant availability and minimise downtime.

Assign work to and supervise a team of artisans responsible for preventative maintenance.

Ensure the proper maintenance of equipment and machinery.

Oversee contractors on site.

Issuing of hot work permits.

Fulfillment of any other job duties deemed necessary and requested by the maintenance manager.



ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a Trade-tested Artisan (i.e. Millwright/Fitter)

Minimum of 5 years' supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience Managing a Preventative Maintenance Schedule

Knowledge and application of Quality Management Systems.

Practical Knowledge of shop floor emplolyee relations and the ability to manage and control staff timekeeping and attendance

Must be highly computer literate

Must have good verbal and written communication skills

Must have good attendance/clean disciplinary record

Experience with managing an EAM system
