A well-established national stationary organisation seeks a highly analytical, efficient Human Resources Manager to manage the needs of the company's employee.

Purpose of job:

Manage the needs of the company's employees.

Develop and manage employment programmes, Remuneration compensation, job evaluations, benefits, promotions, equal opportunity initiatives, and education and training programmes.

In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Office, required to manage the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs.

Carry out responsibilities in the functional area of Departmental development, Human Resources Information systems, employee relations, training and development, benefits compensation, organisational development and employment.

Formulating and drafting Employment Equity Plans.

BEE certification - this is a project - drive this project to ensure the Company meets requirements ITO Legislation and attains the highest level of BEE Scoring.

* Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting
* Compliance with corporate governance
* Employee orientation, development and training
* Policy development and documentation
* Employee relations
* Company-wide committee facilitation
* Company employee communication
* Compensation and benefits administration
* Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
* Employee services, counselling and corrective action
* Advising Managers on counselling regarding performance issues
* Unemployment procedures

Objective being that Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee - oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce and retention of the company's most important asset, its employees.

Supervision and Control:

Manages and controls subordinate / employee performance levels, development needs and the workflow and manpower requirements by:

* Establishing key performance indicators and supports and coaches employees through specific applications and procedures.
* Compiling and forwarding the training and development plan specific to individuals through careful analysis of both strengths and weaknesses.
* Assessing the adequacy of current staffing levels.

To ensure capacity and capability is developed and evaluated continuously to enable the company to sustain acceptable levels of performance and accomplish key reporting requirements.

In terms of the Quality Management system and work Instructions as communicated by supervising Manager - be it verbal or written.

Other Departmental support services work should the operational need arise and to meet the requirements of an ever-changing business in an ever-changing environment

Level of Authority:

* Administrative - To change departmental and group policies after consultation and approval form
* Labour - To hire and terminate services - ITO Procedure


* Degree in HR
* Highly Analytical
* Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
* Report writing at highest levels
* Working on Sage VIP
* Report writing skills
* Analyse cost analysis / general
* Must have a driver's licence
* Must be from the greater Durban area so transport is not a problem.
