Job Description


  • Preparing, maintaining and coordinating all service related activities in terms of scheduled and non scheduled services work for all MPT divisions
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for Service Technicians dispatching daily work and ensuring order fulfillment. Monitor the progress and execution of the work plans and adjust schedules to meet customers’ service requests and requirements.
  • Review and verify daily work plans prior to dispatching to ensure route efficiencies, asset, labour and equipment preparedness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered by the Service Technician including routing or scheduling issues or conflicts, and activate fleet contingency plans when necessary.
  • Confirm and verify service appointments with customers, reschedule appointments and create recurring orders as required to meet external and internal requirements for compliance, maintenance, preventative maintenance and daily customer requests for service to increase efficiency and improve response time commitments to customers.
  • Review service exceptions with customer related to time on location and / or late delivery of service.
  • Review of customer feedback from CSAT and NPS surveys and take any necessary corrective actions to improve the customer experience
  • Providing the best service in every manner to all customers within our services division and ensuring that we have the best service department by obtaining quality service with qualified staff, service / application engineers and providing exceptional service support.
  • Giving 100% support to service managers and service engineers by attending to all service calls of customers and engineers.
  • Keeping all customer data and registers up to date at all times
  • Providing helpful and positive feedback to the respective team leader, manager and customers in terms of service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Following up with the customers outstanding documentation against service agreements and coordinating all scheduled services
  • Generating the proper and detailed daily service schedule in line with team leaders and managers as well as arranging and communicating all appointments to customers.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with all existing and new customers in order to meet the required response times and standards.
  • Regular reporting to service managers as required. (Order Intake, profitability, forecasts, pipelines etc)
  • Managing and administrating all sales handovers in order to coordinate and execute.
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers and negotiating costing with various suppliers
  • Ensure the integrity of data within SAP and eWorks system in maintaining accurate records of daily activities and customer locations sites.

Candidate Requirements



  • Minimum grade 12 education,
  • Preferably with relevant post-secondary education and/or technical certification in operations, logistics or supply chain management.
  • Minimum three (3) years previous logistics and / or service coordination experience.
