  • Managing and controlling all inbound logistical functions including receiving of stock from various suppliers.
  • Review and address variances from weekly reports relating to operational activities e.g. warehouse, distribution, debtors, customer integration centre and take corrective action where necessary.
  • Authorize and manage the use of manual delivery notes as per company policy.
  • Authorize and manage the use of credit notes as per company policy.
  • Manage and control of full outbound logistical functions via own trucks or 3rd party in accordance with procedures.
  • Ensure that on time delivery has taken place as per master and dynamic delivery schedules.
  • Ensure that the accurate products are delivered timeously.
  • Authorize and manage same day deliveries.
  • Review exception reports and ensure that appropriate action steps are taken.
  • Manage and control full reverse logistics function.
  • Oversee the satisfactory resolution of all debriefing related queries.

  • Manage and control stock of all company products.
  • Ensure that proper control mechanisms are put in place and maintained.
  • Oversee and attend weekly counting of stock and attend monthly audited stock takes.
  • Ensure FIFO principles and Line of sight (battery type) principles are being applied in practice.
  • Ensure Goods in Transit report is being monitored and the relevant actions taken to minimize risk.
  • Inspect stock before SAV’s (stock adjustment vouchers) and RSW’s (requests for write offs) are written out and obtain correct authorization as per Company Policy before processing.
  • Oversee all stock receipt and capturing on the SAP.
  • Accountable for ensuring that the picking process is done according to the picking slip/route schedules.
  • Manage and drive scrap collection on a one-on one basis from customers.
  • Ensures that the assessments of rotations in the field which are conducted by the Debriefing clerk are done so in accordance with company policy and procedure.
  • Report all variances to Regional Manager in writing for monitoring
  • Ensure small parts are ordered on time and in the correct mix.
  • Ensure that appropriate monthly stock forecasting is done according to required standards.
  • Implement projects from time to time to ensure business efficiencies are maintained and risk minimized.
  • Ensure site/s are secured adequately as per company policy.
  • Ensure stock losses are minimized by ensuring that proper security measurements are in place in order to reduce risk to shareholders i.t.o. stock losses.
  • Regular meetings with Security provider
  • Ensure security checks are performed as per service level agreement.
  • Ensure procedures as per PBOP training are implemented and adhered to across all operational levels.
  • Assist with preparation for auditing purposes as well as execute the report generated as per Company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure new procedures are implemented and adhered to.
  • Ensure staff is adequately trained on new and existing procedures.
  • Review existing processes and procedures on an ongoing basis to maximize business efficiencies and put forward recommendations to Manager Operations for ratification.
  • Ensure occupational health & safety standards are met and monthly meetings take place.
  • Ensure that all contractual agreements are managed effectively and conform to company policy and procedures
  • Draw up and manage Operational budget for the logistics/distribution sections of the branch.
Candidate Requirements


  • Relevant qualification in Warehousing and Logistics
  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience
  • Excellent computer literacy skills – MS Word, MS Excel
  • SAP Inventory Management experience an advantage
  • 5 years managerial experience
