A dynamic company based in Crown Mines is looking for a Receiving Supervisor

Duties:

  • Will be supervising  maximum of 5 staff
  • Liaise with procurement on incoming stock
  • Liaise with transporters for container bookings
  • Supervise the off-loading of containers
  • Manage quarantined stock
  • Supervise and control all receiving staff at highest productivity level
  • Ensure that staff is trained on the relevant SOP’s in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager
  • Arrange for container bookings and deliveries
  • Supervise the off-loading of containers per product, per batch number and expiry date in a expeditious and effective manner
  • Ensure correctness of received stock compared to the packing list that stock is checked correctly according to product, batch number and quantity and report any anomalies, including damages and short received stock to the relevant Stakeholders
  • Ensure that stock is packed and marked correctly according to product, batch number, expiry date and quantity
  • Ensure that packing lists are signed off and handed over for GRV timeously
  • Ensure that stock adjustment forms are completed for damaged and short received stock and submitted to the stock controller at Head Office
  • Ensure that samples for testing and retention samples are handed over to the responsible Pharmacist
  • Ensure that received stock remains in quarantine until released by the responsible Pharmacist
  • Ensure that copies of the GRV is obtained from Head Office and that it is checked and verified with the received stock
  • Ensure that released stock is handed over to the binning and storage supervisor timeously together with the relevant documentation
  • Supervise the off-loading of stock received from local suppliers and airfreight consignments according to product, per batch number, expiry date and quantity in an expeditious and effective manner and report any anomalies, including damages and short received stock to the relevant Stakeholders
  • Supervise the off-loading of IBTéd stock received from other warehouses according to product, per batch number, expiry date and quantity in an expeditious and effective manner and report any Anomalies, including damages and short received stock to the relevant Stakeholders
  • Generate stock adjustment forms (if required) in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager and capture
  • Follow up on the processing of outstanding stock adjustments with the stock controller at Head Office
  • Print and validate the Pastel journal entry form to ensure that the stock adjustments requested are correct
  • Ensure that the necessary supporting documentation for GRV’s and IBT’s are handed over to the Binning and Storage Supervisor where applicable
  • Ensure strict compliance to OHASA regulations and safety aspects
  • Ensure that company policies and SOP’s are strictly complied with
Candidate Requirements

Requirements:

  • Own vehicle and valid drivers license
  • Matric
  • Five years experience in pharmaceutical administration
  • Minimum five years’ experience (in a Pharmaceutical Warehouse Environment is advantageous)
  • Able to manage people
  • Able to read, write and do mathematical calculations
  • Computer Literate
  • A good understanding of current GMP practices
