Working from home (Gauteng or Cape Town) you will be required to travel nationally and internationally to client sites as necessary. Experience in consumer credit life-cycle is required.

The company comprises a highly agile team of decisioning, technical and business professionals,  responsible for the development, sale and implementation of the company’s cloud based Decisioning Platform.

Their team is located worldwide, and their focus is currently on servicing the South African decisioning industry.

The Decisioning Platform is a unique decision management system, combining the established core decision engine with private cloud managed services, to provide a customised solution for the company’s partners in established and emerging markets.

 The Decisioning Platform is a SaaS (Software as a Service) based decision management system which is configured to cover the entire credit life cycle; from prospecting for new customers to managing new acquisitions, controlling existing accounts (collections) and maximising recoveries from write-offs.


The Solutions Consultant forms part of the company’s integration team, working alongside the Strategy Consultant and the Software Integration Engineer to configure the integration of the company’s solutions for their subscribers. The Solutions Consultant needs to bring an excellent understanding of credit systems and processes to the team, as they will be responsible for investigating, understanding and documenting the integration requirements, which the technical team will implement.


Attend client design meetings, where system functionality will be discussed, and solutions will be tailored and configured to deliver to client requirements.

 Lead discussions on system capabilities and integration requirements within the working team of both clients and colleagues.

 Engage with client system management and technical teams in order to understand and document the integration requirements between the various host systems, including Application Processing, Account Processing and/or Collections systems.

 Work closely with the Strategy Consultant who will define decisioning process and strategies, and the Technical Consultant who will implement the integration requirements, to define system functionality and capability for each client implementation.

 Documentation of parameter settings, data field mappings, function and purpose for integration between the company and multiple host processing platforms.

 Implementation of business configuration in the initial solution to be delivered to the client. 

 Responsible for User Acceptance Testing of the configured solution, to ensure that it meets client requirements before delivery

 Act as a Business Analyst for client integration projects.

 Have the ability and self-discipline to work from home in an unsupervised capacity.

 Able to travel and work both within South Africa and internationally, as required.

Qualifications and Experience

 Must be currently based in South Africa

 Bachelor’s degree required.  Degree concentrations in business, finance, engineering or related discipline preferred.

 Requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in credit, financial services consulting or the financial services industry as a business analyst.  Direct experience on the client side of business is advantageous.

 Past accomplishments must include the successful configuration and implementation of decisioning solutions and/or processing solutions.

 Must be comfortable interfacing with senior client management.  Must have proven ability to interact with all levels within an organisation, from most junior to most senior, from all aspects of technical and operational business. 

 Knowledge and experience with operational credit systems, from applications processing, account processing and collections

 Must be a self-starter with entrepreneurial approach to client interactions. 

 Requires  high  levels  of  energy,  resilience  and  ability  to  display  creativity  in  developing  solutions  and  codifying offerings. 

 Requires domestic and international travel.
