Purpose of the Position:

To analyse and generate meaningful insights using internal and external data sources to drive data driven engagement strategies that build a competitive advantage for the company.

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in compiling accurate, insightful and actionable Category and Brand Review presentations
  • Develop and maintain standard reports relevant to cross functional stakeholders
  • Regular monthly ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support the broader Marketing ,Trade Marketing, Sales and Regional teams
  • Translate numerical data into insights and actionable plans
  • Build relationships internally and externally that facilitates insights delivery to key stakeholders
  • Constantly searching for innovative, better and faster ways of pulling data and compiling presentations

Candidate Requirements

The following qualification, skills and experience:

  • An appropriate tertiary qualification degree (Marketing, Research, Statistics, Business etc.)
  • A solid understanding of data insights with a proven track record and minimum of 3 years experience in an analytics role:
    • Strong data and analytics skills
    • Strong business and system process analysis
  • Previous experience in using Dunnhumby and SmartShopper Data, Nielsen, BMi, IRI or shopper market research programs will be advantageous
  • Knowledge of the liquor market is advantageous
