Our client is a digital marketing company and one of the largest lead generation firms in South Africa.  They use a range of digital channels to improve sales and optimize their clients’ ROI (return on investment). They strongly believe in the ethos that any digital marketing initiative taken needs to be highly measurable and results driven, thus enabling their clients to successfully measure their return on investment. All their digital marketing campaigns are 100% trackable, making it possible to measure and account for every cent spent.

They are looking for a young, vibey, eager and knowledgeable PPC/ SEM guru who is able to work in a high-pressured, goal orientated environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage a wide variety of online campaigns using Google Adwords, Google Display Network, Gmail Sponsored Promotions, Facebook and all social advertising, LinkedIn, YouTube, twitter to achieve client goals.
  • Support Account Managers/Client Leads with implementation on campaigns where required.
  • Creation, development and management of effective PPC and social campaigns on behalf of client.
  • Communicate account performance, trends and areas of opportunity to Account Managers/Client Leads.
  • Work alongside other key departments such as Design, Development and upper management.
  • Deliver client satisfaction through results-driven campaigns according to expected KPI’s and objectives.
  • Exceed client’s expectations regarding performance – Campaign Reporting, including Analysis and Recommendations.
  • Most internal campaigns are on risk – where we measure and take the risk on a cost .per lead and cost per sale basis.
  • Manage and grow a team of paid search specialists.
  • Monitor the department’s costs and revenue and report on it.
  • Must be able to drive the department forward and find new channels in order to. keep the company at the forefront of the industry.
  • Compile reports using 3rd party reporting tools and analytics tools
  • PPC Campaign Management :
    • Keyword research.
    • Audience targeting
    • Paid search account set up and campaign build.
    • Work with and advise content teams to identify promoted content.
    • Bid management and strategy.
    • Day-to-day optimisation and maintenance of campaigns.
    • Reporting to client and highlighting opportunities for campaign optimisation as well as media efficiencies.
    • Budget management of campaigns.
    • Knowledge sharing of new learning’s in the paid environment (particularly marketplace/self-service platforms).

    Candidate Requirements

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Matric.
    • Relevant degree/ diploma.
    • Min 2 years PPC/ SEM experience.
    • Min 2 years experience within the Facebook paid environment.
    • Exposure to and understanding of the paid Twitter landscape.
    • Sound understanding and practised in Google AdWords.
    • Facebook Studio Certification – Experience running Twitter PPC campaigns .
    • Google Adwords Certification (Fundamentals, Search Advanced, Display Advanced, Video Advanced.
    • Exposure to and understanding of the paid Twitter landscape.
    • Sound understanding and practised in Google AdWords.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
