Employer: Creative Sourcing

Responsible for providing support to Account/ Sales Manager(s), Telephonic Sales Support, Sales Administration, Management and/ or support in terms of Customer Relationships, Generating quotes on IT Hardware/ Software and Services. Preparation of orders and assisting the external sales force, Tender support.

Position is based in Pretoria East


  • Main function is to support the Account/ Sales Manager(s)
  • Internal company face to customer(s)
  • Customer calls: Physical & Telephonic (all customers at least once a week) - Talk to customers and potential customers to work out the hardware and software needs of their business
  • Daily planning call on all accounts allocated
  • Attend sales meetings if required
  • Create customer interest in the organisation's IT products
  • Keep customers informed of new product developments and IT innovation opportunities
  • Create appropriate systems for customers' needs, including software and hardware options
  • Develop tender proposals and IT solution cost options for customers
  • Continuously improve the customer’s perception of the company


Quotes and Orders:

  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of quotes on time – manage process from 1st quotation request received up to quotation accepted, do follow-ups to ensure a quick turnaround time
  • Communicate with suppliers if required for quotes or verification




  • Process orders - prepare orders and place it with the order entry team, after quotes have been approved.
  • Assisting Customers with order status. Customer must be kept updated on deliveries and progress status
  • Manage the sourcing and delivery of products to the customer
  • Provide after-sales support and handle customer queries
  • Process internal paperwork for orders and ensure that the relevant paperwork is done on time
  • Ensuring that sales analysis is done and updated on time
  • Assisting external sales
  • Ad hoc duties as required by the Account/ Sales Manager
  • Update Sales Tool/ System
  • Assist with the follow up of invoices and payments when required
  • Attend operations meetings
  • Tender assistance is an important function of Internal Sales



  • Participate in product development, marketing and client education activities
  • Talk to IT technical experts (analysts, designers, programmers, educators)
  • Perform continuous updates of their own knowledge of products.
  • Attend product training sessions

Candidate Requirements

  • Senior Certificate – previous IT sales and back-office experience preferable.
  • Strong administration skills
  • Good IT hardware (product) knowledge (Dell etc.)
  • Multilingual – excellent communication skills (face-to-face and telephonic)
  • Microsoft Office Suite
